GS Troop 58114 Meeting | Coding for Good

This January, Lily and Nora will be guiding the troop through the Junior Coding for Good badge series. The girls will begin with Coding Basics, where they’ll learn what coding is, explore algorithms, loops, and conditionals, and apply their new skills in a small project. Next, they’ll step into Digital Game Design to dream up characters, storylines, and challenges, and then build and share their own playable game. Finally, in App Development, the girls will think about real-world problems they’d like to solve, design storyboards for their own app ideas, and create prototypes to bring their vision to life. By the end of the series, our Juniors will earn three new badges and come away with creative problem-solving skills, teamwork experience, and confidence in the world of technology.
