You will explore the historic Capitol building, learn about civics and government, meet volunteers from Minnesota Womens Lawyers, and practice your advocacy.

Join us at the Minnesota State Capitol to learn how to speak out, Girl Scout! Were celebrating Day of the Girl and Girl Scouts 112th birthday. You will explore the historic Capitol building, learn about civics and government, meet volunteers from Minnesota Womens Lawyers, and practice your advocacy skills. This is an open-house-style event where you can move at your own pace. This is a great event for Girl Scouts looking to make a difference in their communities and can help Girl Scouts feel inspired to complete a Take Action or a Highest Award project. Girls will recieve their Democracy for Brownies badge and a exclusive day at the capitol badge
